When it was delivered, it came in a small box which I was surprised about but it was vacuum packed so was fine when unpacked. The rug is quite thin but that makes it easy to pick up and shake. It looks great down as I've got it in small room that is not used much. I've added pictures to help anyone thinking of buying this. I paid £18 something including delivery so I consider it worth it. It also came in 2 days.
